My Review Of Tiger King

Wow... This documentary really REALLY surprised me...

Tiger King had been out probably a week before I even thought of watching it but once I did I was hooked. This is one instance where something was definitely worth the hype. I honestly thought it was a mock-umentary at first but trust me THIS SHIT GETS REAL.

Firstly, it started out with Joe Exotic, this outlandish gay redneck who ran a zoo full of what they call "Big Cats". It then gets into his rivalry with this 60s looking bitch named Carole Baskin. These 2 HATE each other. Like, high school petty type hate. Like these 2 would kill each other if they were in the same room.

Now, Carole Baskin also has a SIMP husband. I don't even fucking know his name... I just know his the king of SIMPs. But before this current husband, Carole had a previous husband. This previous husband was reportedly worth anywhere between 5 and 50 million dollars. Now, this husband was going to divorce Carole, and Carole definitely did not like that. So she *ALLEGEDLY* (even though i definitely think she did it), killed him, fed him to the tigers, and then buried the body under the septic tank. Now, you may ask "Why would you say that?" Well I 100% don't have all the information but there is a clip in the show where Joe Exotic gets attacked by one of the Tigers. He claims that someon put cologne on his shoes for the Tiger to attack him, but it then cuts directly to a clip of Carole Baskin saying "If I were... If you wanted to feed someone to the tigers, you would use something like sardine oil, not cologne." That's like OJ saying 'Oh well, if I were to kill my Ex-Wife and her husband, I would wear gloves...' LIKE SERIOUSLY.

Then, we're introduced to this outlandish, orgy having guy from Myrtle Beach named Doc Antle. This motherfucker is the first of many to be very clearly a scumbag. The man LITERALLY changed all his employees names. All his employees are female and all live on site with Doc.

It then goes into Joe Exotic's love life for a bit. He is also into polygamy. He got married to 2 different 19 yr old boys at the same time. Both those boys ended up being straight like 14 years later. Once it was outed, one left Joe for his female secretary, the other one killed himself on site in front of Joe Exotic's campaign manager (Oh trust me we'll get to that). Joe Exotic one month after the death of his husband finds his next husband and gets married like 2 months later.

Now as I previously mentioned Joe Exotic had a campaign manager. What kind of campaign do you think this guy was doing? I'm going to give you a couple seconds for you to really think about it... Ok... You ready?... THIS MAN WAS RUNNING FOR FUCKING PRESIDENT. He was an independent candidate in the 2016. He obviously lost, but that wasn't enough for him. So he decided to also run for Governor of Oklahoma. And if that wasn't weird enough, part of his campaign was handing out CONDOMS... YES THE SEXUAL PROTECTION KIND... with his face on them...

But Joe Exotic ran out of funds... So he calls this guy named Jeff Lowe. Now Jeff Lowe is also an orgy lover(It seems like all Tiger people are...). This dude brings his boy in named Allen. Allen starts working for the pair, and eventually Joe is run out of town by Jeff.

Now, I would hate for all these talented documentary producers' hard work to go to waste, so I will not spoil the end for them or you. What I will say is this documentary is a must watch for anybody over the age of 16. There some shit in this documentary that I wouldn't even understand. I probably don't even understand half the shit in this show and I'm 17. Either way, this documentary literally covers so many characters that on their own deserve their own 7 part docu-series. It's the perfect clash of legal trouble, conspiracies, animal rights, high school drama, and a whole lot of redneck. Personally I would give the series a 7.7/10 on the Gabzzz watchability scale.
