6ix9ine Released From Prison Because Of COVID-19

According to XXL, 6ix9ine is being released from prison.

The rapper was arrested back in November 2018, on gang related charges, and was supposed to be released in August 2020, but that has apparently been pushed forward to this week.

It was reported a couple weeks ago that he was trying to get released because he had multiple health issues and was scared that if he caught COVID-19 that it would be fatal for him. It was then reported that the judge had rejected his ask. But he has reportedly been granted his release after the judge discussed the situation with the government.

Now, 6ix9ine is not completely free. Not only does he have to stay in self isolation because of COVID-19, but he is still technically serving the rest of his sentence, just at home instead of in prison.

This news most definitely will have very different reactions from the rap community. Some, mostly fans of 6ix9ine's music, will be excited that the artist is practically free and can record come new music. Others will be awaiting the reaction from the Nine Trey Bloods, 6ix9ine's former gang. There is a strong possibility that 6ix9ine could be dead by the end of the year via gang violence.

6ix9ine's original sentence was supposed to be 47 years in prison, but because he decided to cooperate with the government and testify against his former gang, his sentence was shortened. Now obviously this did not and will not sit well with the Nine Trey Bloods, and will most likely end up having some sort of effect on 6ix9ine's life. 6ix9ine was dubbed a snitch by a lot of the online community, and even if by chance his former gang does not retaliate, his name will for sure be tarnished by his actions in police custody.

Personally, I would be a little scared to be in 6ix9ine's position, because a lot believe there is impending doom coming his way, but I would also not have changed anything about what 6ix9ine did. His former gang has already tried to kill him once, they hooked up with his baby mama, and also robbed him of six figures worth of jewelry. Those people deserved to be snitched on. If you want me not to snitch on you then don't fucking do anything to break my trust or harm my family. These guys are clearly pathetic because now they've got loose ends everywhere, which were completely preventable. If they didn't fail to kill him, or just didn't do shit to him, he would've just served his 47 year sentence and they would never have these problems.
